Requires Windows 10/11 and Stream Deck software 6.5+. GLASS, EYE, AI, RADIO playback and CLIENT status additionally need the BalduursGATE client 0.4.28+.

Seven steps

  1. Install the BalduursGATE client (if not yet): https://oldmensclub.de/balduursgate/
  2. Install the plugin: double-click BalduursGATE.streamDeckPlugin → confirm in Stream Deck.
  3. Edition: the OMC Edition is included. Nothing to configure.
  4. Connect your personal access: at https://oldmensclub.de/roleplay/konto/zugaenge/ issue an access just for the Stream Deck (label e.g. "Stream Deck"). Click any BalduursGATE key in Stream Deck → "Zugang" → paste → Save. It is stored encrypted with Windows DPAPI (current user only) and never shown again.
  5. Read your own Star Citizen bindings: place the "BG Einrichtung" key, click it → "Installationen suchen" → choose the newest binding → "Einlesen". Reads your actionmaps.xml or an exported layout_*_exported.xml.
  6. Create a profile: press "XL", "Standard", "+" or "Galleon" → Stream Deck asks to import → pick the device → Install.
  7. Done. Every key shows your binding ("R · KURZ" = tap, "R · LANG" = long press) and presses exactly that key for exactly as long as the game requires.

What the keys show

Security

Personal access only (no shared tokens), encrypted with DPAPI, never in URLs, logs, titles or error messages. The client bridge listens on 127.0.0.1 only, random port and secret per start, status file only in your own Windows profile, browser requests rejected, and the access never crosses the bridge.

FAQ

Nothing happens in game: Star Citizen must be the foreground window; if the game runs as administrator, Stream Deck must too. F13–F24: Star Citizen does not know these keys. Several users: each Windows user reads their own bindings and enters their own access; nothing is shared.
